A Midi I created via mouse and a notation editing program only (It began as a mouse scribble across the treble bars)

First5.mid and a double-time version: First4.mid circa 1997?

These next were composed on a Roland EM-20 electric organ
No real finished pieces here - mostly bits discovered while free-form playing and recorded for later possible use
Un-polished slices of my attempts at musical creation. Lots of repetition, tuning, trying to find a sound I liked...
The sound you hear will be crude as midi does not record all parameters used in the original version such as sustain length- (I only wanted to retain the notes quickly)
OK - Why publish them then?! I didn't want them to end up hidden away like Prince's father's sheet music in Purple Rain!

1.mid a true journey into the uncharted after awhile...(I often tried to set the keyboards on "record" and then hope to forget it was recording to capture the natural progression that occured)

2.mid and an alternate version 2b.mid

3.mid

Bass1.mid

End1.mid

Fuzz1.mid

Keys.mid

Melan1.mid

Melan2.mid

Melan3.mid

Some of the titles were used to remind me of the settings on the Roland

Osc.mid

Sax1.mid a short blank intro to wait through - sorry
(This in particular sounds much different set as saxaophone instead of this choppy keyboard sound)

Tapps.mid a play on the original Taps - I really felt chills playing it as I transformed the lone bugle into a full ensemble toward an end- again the midi version does not do it justice

Time1.mid I guess inspired by Time in a Bottle, but I'm not sure how much...

Time3.mid OK,this sounds so much different decoded through the Roland it's sad. The above tune with added drum crescendos - but the midi banks here make it sound like banging on a piano keyboard...

Timextra.mid

Toyland.mid

Tromb1.mid

Truorg.mid

Vwcomm.mid inspired by a VW commercial where they are driving in the rain and all is in time with the song on their radio

Xmas1.mid

Finally, a .wav file recorded in my garage one night : Ninja.wav (In-line liquid-cooled 4-cylinder 16-valve, 4 into1 exhaust)
